We'd love to share our home with you during a 2 year sabbatical. Our goals when we purchased this home were a short commute to the hospital, a beautiful view, and trailheads within one block. This is a 3384 sq ft home on a 1/3 acre lot. The main floor has been renovated into a great room that lets one look over the quartzite countertops to incredible 180 degree views of the Wasatch, Salt Lake Valley, and the Oquirrhs. You can enjoy the look-through fireplace from the dining room or the living room. Also on the main floor are 3 bedrooms including the primary suite and a full guest bathroom.
Downstairs in the walk out basement there is another full living area including a suite with full bathroom, a bar, and living room and den, again with a look-through fireplace. There is also a large storage area and laundry room with additional storage. We intend to use a second basement bedroom to store our family's belongings, although this could be negotiated if a fifth bedroom is needed.
Our local elementary, Ensign, is one of the best schools in the state. West High School's IB program is also lauded.
We also have a membership at the local neighborhood pool (Northcrest), a great way to make friends and stay active through the summer, which can be activated for your family by paying only the yearly dues.
Rooftop Solar power is enough to completely cover household use including two electric cars (220 V socket in the 2 car garage).
